Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies at the Center of Basra and Arab Gulf Studies at the University of Basra organized a discussion entitled as (Investigative Methods of Modern Linguists)

The session, in which Dr. Abd al-Hussein Ibrahim Muhammad lectured, aimed to shed light on the most important standards followed in the verification of manuscripts. It presented a group of characteristics of investigators and samples of manuscripts.

The session was moderated by a. Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Abdulaziz Sihoud, who recommended the need for concerted efforts to revive the scientific and cultural heritage by realizing manuscripts
