Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies at the Center of Basra and Arab Gulf Studies at the University of Basra organized an internet based scientific symposium entitled as (Manifestations of Martyrdom in the Discourses of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, according to psycholinguistics)
The symposium included several lectures, which were chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohsen Mushkil Al-Hajjaj, in which Prof. Dr. Tayseer Ahmid Abel spoke about (Sakina Al-Karrar in Receiving Predestination), and Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdel Aziz Saihoud spoke about (The Psychology of Martyrdom and its Impact on the Discourses of Imam Ali A.S.) And Dr. Hassan Kazem Hussein focused on (Psycholinguistics and its impact on directing discourse), and the symposium recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: Concerted efforts to revive the biography of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in various religious and social fields
