Basra University organizes a scientific symposium on the birth of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba, peace be upon him.

 

 

Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies at Basra and Arab Gulf Studies Center at University of Basra, in cooperation with College of Basic Education at Al-Muthanna University, implemented a internet based scientific symposium entitled (Contemporary Readings of the Birth of Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba, peace be upon him, in the popular heritage). The symposium aims to shed light on the birth of Imam Hassan, in the heritage popular.
The symposium included several lectures chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohsen Mushkil Al-Hajjaj, in which Prof. Dr. Tayseer Ahmid Abel spoke about the birth of Imam Hassan,  and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Awad Mizar referred to the popular heritage, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdel Aziz Saihoud focused on the phenomenon of Qarqi’an and its relationship With the birth of Imam Hassan. The symposium recommended concerted efforts in reviving the popular heritage
