Center of Basra and Arab Gulf Studies organized a scientific workshop on documents and their classification at the conference hall in Center of Basra and Arab Gulf Studies. Mrs. Suhair Hamid Abdullah, who is responsible for the documents unit at the center, presented a lecture with  Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Nasser, the researcher in the Department of Political and Strategic Studies, the workshop presented the work in ducmentation.  This workshop aims to introduce the efforts of workers in documents unit, and indicate the types of documents in the center, which are a group of documents that concern Basra and the Arabian Gulf from the Ottoman era until the current stage. The workshop recommended the necessity of continuing such workshops in order to celebrate the efforts of the workers and clarify the knowledge aspects
