Center for Basra and Arab Gulf Studies organized its first session for the creative platform and hosted the poet Hani Abu Mustafa. The session was moderated by Asst. Prof.  Abdel Halim Abdel Hafez. The poet talked about his literary career and his eight collections in the vertical poem or prose poetry. He also talked about his participation in international competitions, including his participation in the Nile and Euphrates Poet Competition in Cairo 2018 when he won first place
At the end of the session, it was recommended the continuation of holding creative platform sessions in hosting visual creators in all fields, as an appreciation, honor and support for them and to motivate others.
