organized a scientific workshop on oil pollution in Basra Governorate, in which Dr. Walid Hamid al-Moussawi, the General Director of Environment Directorate of the Southern Region, lectured, and was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Nasser. The workshop included several axes, including: sources of oil pollution, types of pollutants, and oil spills, and how to protect and treat the city.
