
The seminar aims at identifying philosophy, its history, development and importance.
The symposium, which chaired its session Asst Prof Abdul Halim Abdul Hafez Khaled, included several lectures Asst Prof Dr. Taha Mohamed Jawad spoke on philosophy as a scientific, social, economic and political necessity. Asst lect. Montazeer Karim Al-Maliki focused on philosophical thinking between elitist practice and populist practice. The researcher Hazem Raad talked about the importance of philosophy for the future. The seminar recommended the need to cooperate in establishing scientific activities that emphasis importance of philosophy for individual and society .
