Basra and Arabian Gulf Studies Centre at the University of Basrah organised a seminar on the problem of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The seminar was by lectured Asst Lect Dr Ohoud Abbas Ahmed, she pointed out the issue of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and the resulting political, economic and social problems. The study dealt with the state of chaos and confusion as a result of the qualitative resolutions issued by the United Nations Security Council in an unprecedented negative manner, as they were deliberately designed to eliminate the progress and development of the country.
