Basra and Arab Gulf Research center conducted a seminar about functioning Lakoff theory in conceptual metaphor to realize the concept worshiping in the Islamic sophism.  The lecturer was Dr Ayad Al Muhamadawi from department of linguistics and literary studies. The researcher focused on the spiritual journey to Allah. The study tried to introduce this theory to the Arabic researchers as it is part of updated linguistic studies

The study recommended to apply the theory to the different studies in literature and linguistics
