Center of Basra and Arab Gulf Studies, Department of Geographical Studies at the University of Basra organized a symposium entitled (freedom in practicing Husseini rites According to Iraq Lows for the period 1921-2021). The aim was to reveal the main laws in Iraq for the period from 1920 – 2021, in addition to legislations and instruction organizing the Hissaini rites since the establishment of the Iraq republic. These were part of the laws organizing the total religious rites in Iraq as part of anti-terror law
